Friendly Hills students photoFriendly Hills Middle School serves students in grades 5-8. With an emphasis on integrating technology, the arts, and rigorous academics, students at Friendly Hills develop skills necessary to achieve their academic goals and become lifelong learners. Friendly Hills' caring teachers use strategies that target individual learning styles to enhance course content and promote students' critical thinking skills.

Friendly Hills also incorporates service learning at all grade levels to provide real life, hands-on experiences and prepare students to be responsible global citizens.

  • Everything at Friendly Hills is guided by the "STAR" philosophy that emphasizes Service, Technology, Arts and Rigor.

  • Four RsStudents are organized into smaller “communities” to encourage development of meaningful relationships between students and staff

  • The AVID program (which stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination) promotes college readiness and high expectations for all students. Learn more about AVID.

  • Band, Orchestra and Choir are offered in grades 5-8.
