booth_lauriAs the current Band Director at Friendly Hills, I feel blessed to be able to work with young people everyday as they explore the world of music through playing instruments.
I started working in ISD 197 in 1993 and have taught Band, Orchestra and General Music in all of the district buildings at some point during my time in this district.
I have a B.S. in Music Education through the University of Minnesota and have taken graduate credits through Hamline and St. Mary's University.
When I am not at school, I spend my time with family, playing Oboe in a local community band, reading and making jewelry.
