Make A Difference Day 2012!
On March 29, all Friendly Hills Middle School students and staff were involved in a massive effort to celebrate Make a Difference Day. Some raised money, some cleaned the neighborhoods, some made food for the hungry, and some made clothes for the needy. It was a huge success – check out this video to see how students helped their community.

Museum Mania
The eighth grade class at Friendly Hills completed an interdisciplinary unit on World War II and the Holocaust last Friday culminating in a presentation of their work to their families and peers. Students studied WWII in depth in both their social studies and language arts classes for over a month, and at the end of the unit created a project covering a specific topic of WWII or the Holocaust that interested them. Watch the video above to see student work.
Enjoy the final performance of the 8th grade choir. They sang Don't Stop Believin' by Journey.
